Amazon.com IncAmazon is issuing $25 billion in bonds to fund AI investments, providing capital for growth.

Amazon.com plans to raise at least $25 billion through a dollar-denominated bond sale, according to people familiar with the matter. The move is seen as part of an effort to secure massive funding for artificial intelligence investments, and the issuance size could be increased depending on investor demand. Amazon also raised $37 billion in dollar bonds in March, and Bloomberg News reported that peak demand during the marketing period for that deal reached $62 billion. The company intends to issue senior unsecured notes with maturities ranging from 3 to 40 years, with proceeds to be used for general corporate purposes, including future capital expenditures and debt repayment.
