Several analysts raised their price targets on W.R. Berkley after the insurer reported record gross premiums written of $4.1 billion and record quarterly net investment income of $418.7 million. Operating income per diluted share rose to $1.27 from $1.05 a year ago, while revenue grew to $3.72 billion, slightly below the $3.77 billion consensus. BofA lifted its target to $69 from $68 but kept an Underperform rating, Truist raised its 2026 EPS estimate to $4.95 from $4.75 and maintained a Buy rating, and Keefe Bruyette increased its target to $70 from $69 while noting decelerating rate increases could pressure shares. The stock trades at a forward P/E of 14.99, a premium to the sector median of 11.45, and hedge fund ownership edged up to 47 funds in the first quarter of 2026 from 45 in the prior quarter.
