Airports Of Thailand PCLPassenger growth of 8% and strong load factors indicate robust demand for airport services.

AOT has successfully resolved the issue of overbooked flight slots, resulting in a stronger aviation capacity for this winter season. Passenger numbers in the first half of August grew by 8% year-on-year, with the overall August figure up 4%. Meanwhile, Middle East routes surged by 100%, and the load factor for direct flights increased to 95-97% from the previous 89%. The increase in PSC fees did not impact passenger volumes. AOT is also preparing to propose to the Cabinet the approval of a third ground handler (Oscar) in September to address bottlenecks. Additionally, it will adjust the arrival area to sell regular duty-free goods alongside King Power, which is expected to generate an additional 100 million baht in revenue per year.
