Salesforce.com IncSalesforce launched Hunter, its new outbound sales agent, with Apollo integrated as a flagship data partner, expanding its product capabilities.

Apollo has been selected as one of an exclusive group of flagship launch partners for Hunter, Salesforce's new outbound sales agent, the company announced at Salesforce's Dreamforce conference in San Francisco. Under the partnership, Salesforce customers can access Apollo's network of 240 million contacts directly through Hunter even if they are not Apollo customers, using Apollo's sales intelligence to research accounts, find prospects, enrich contact information, and identify timely outreach signals. Hunter agents can tap into seven Apollo prospecting actions backed by a contact database that delivers 98% email accuracy, covering company search, company enrich, person search, person enrich, person enrich with mobile phone, news enrich, and job posting enrich. Scott Singerman, VP of Partnerships at Apollo, said thousands of teams already run Apollo alongside Salesforce, while Rohan Punamia, VP of Product Management at Salesforce, said bringing Apollo's intelligence natively into Hunter gives every Salesforce customer the prospecting data and signals they need without a separate Apollo subscription. The dedicated integration is distinct from Apollo's existing public listing on Salesforce AgentExchange and follows the launch of Apollo's latest Slack app; Hunter is currently in pilot, with general availability planned for November.
