Apple Inc.Authorized $100B buyback and raised dividend, returning capital to shareholders.

Apple authorized a fresh $100 billion buyback and raised its dividend by 4 percent while keeping annual capital expenditures at just $12.7 billion, sidestepping the spending surge that is consuming roughly 95 percent of operating cash flows at AI hyperscalers. The company reported full fiscal 2025 revenue of $416.16 billion, net income of $112.01 billion, and operating cash flow of $111.48 billion, with buybacks alone absorbing $90.71 billion. In the second quarter of fiscal 2026, revenue rose 16.6 percent year-over-year to $111.18 billion and earnings per share of $2.01 beat estimates for the eighth consecutive quarter. Apple’s installed base of more than 2.5 billion active devices and a services segment that hit an all-time record of $30.98 billion underpin a strategy that monetizes artificial intelligence through existing hardware rather than building a massive data-center footprint. CFO Kevan Parekh described AI investment as incremental and layered on top of the normal product roadmap, while CEO Tim Cook emphasized that Apple Intelligence is woven into the core of its platforms and powered by Apple silicon.
