Apple Inc.Apple unveiled its first foldable iPhone Duo with new A20 chips and camera systems, which Goldman expects to drive continued device demand.

Apple unveiled its first foldable iPhone, the iPhone Duo, at its annual event this week, with new CEO John Ternus introducing a passport-style device that opens and closes like a book. The Duo carries a 5.4-inch front display that expands to a 7.6-inch screen when opened, and starts at $1,999, in line with pre-event speculation, while the higher-spec model will cost north of $3,100. Goldman Sachs analyst Michael Ng said the key product feature announcements, including the foldable form factor, Touch ID to open on the iPhone Duo, new A20-series chips and rear-camera systems, were largely as expected and should drive continued strength in device demand. Apple also showed new AirPods with 50% more noise cancellation, a regular iPhone 18 Pro with supercharged battery life, and a new Apple Watch that can summarize ambient conversations. AT&T CEO John Stankey, speaking at the Goldman Sachs Communacopia & Tech conference, said he expects the Duo to remain contained to a portion of the user base that wants a larger device and is willing to invest more money to get it.
