Taiwanese chip supplier Unimicron Technology is looking to raise up to $1.4 billion through a global depositary share offering. The company, which counts Apple and Nvidia as customers, is selling 50 million global depositary shares at $26.96 to $27.76 each, a 3% to 6% discount to its NT$917 close on Monday. Unimicron plans to use the proceeds to procure raw materials in foreign currencies. The global depositary shares will be listed on the Luxembourg Stock Exchange, with pricing expected later Monday.
