Component shortages limit iPhone and Mac production, cutting revenue growth forecast.
Apple shares fell about 1.5% in Monday's regular session, pushing the four-day decline past 10% in what MarketWatch called the company's weakest such stretch since April 2025. The drop stood in contrast to gains at Microsoft, Amazon, Alphabet and other major tech names. Apple expects current-quarter revenue growth of 9% to 11%, roughly two percentage points below Wall Street's forecast, with CEO Tim Cook citing significant component shortages that are limiting iPhone and Mac production. At least four brokerages cut their price targets after the results, while three raised theirs, leaving the median target around $330.
