Applied Materials expects its semiconductor business to grow revenue by at least 30% in calendar 2026, a sharp acceleration from the 10.4% year-over-year increase posted in its fiscal second quarter. The company, the largest U.S. semiconductor equipment provider, reported total quarterly revenue of $7.91 billion, with its semiconductor segment contributing $5.965 billion, or 75% of the total. Management cited partnerships with Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing, Micron, and SK Hynix as drivers of the anticipated ramp. To hit the full-year target, Applied Materials will need to deliver quarterly growth rates of 40% to 50% in the coming periods, while its net profit margin stood at 35.5% in the latest quarter.
