Apyx Medical Corporation announced new clinical data showing that a combination treatment using its Avéli and Renuvion devices improved cellulite in 81.8% of patients. The study, published in Aesthetic Surgery Journal Open Forum, involved 22 patients and used 3D imaging to measure reductions in dimple volume. The approach pairs Avéli for targeted subcision of fibrous septae with Renuvion's controlled helium plasma radiofrequency energy to reduce skin laxity. Lead investigator Barry E. DiBernardo, MD, said the findings add to growing evidence supporting complementary treatment approaches.
