Daewoong PharmaExpanded partnership to bring Enavogliflozin to Middle East markets increases potential sales and market reach.

Arcera Life Sciences and Daewoong Pharmaceutical have expanded their strategic partnership to bring Enavogliflozin, Daewoong's novel SGLT2 inhibitor, to key markets across the Middle East. The agreement builds on their existing collaboration for Latin America, which became part of Arcera's platform after its integration of M8 Pharmaceuticals in December 2024, and follows the recent approval of Enavogliflozin in Mexico. The expansion covers regulatory, market access, and commercialization activities in the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Bahrain, Egypt, and Iraq. Enavogliflozin is approved in South Korea for type 2 diabetes and has shown meaningful efficacy in glycemic control. The companies aim to address the high prevalence of diabetes in the Middle East by combining Daewoong's R&D capabilities with Arcera's commercial infrastructure.
