Argan is constructing a new fabrication facility in North Carolina to expand its Industrial segment, with completion expected in the third quarter of fiscal 2027. The move follows a data center contract for pressure vessel fabrication awarded in late 2025 and aims to boost manufacturing capacity amid rising demand. In the first quarter of fiscal 2027, consolidated revenues surged 50% year over year to a record $291 million, with the Industrial segment contributing approximately $58 million. The company holds a nearly $974 million cash and investment balance with no debt, providing flexibility to fund the expansion. Argan’s backlog stands at approximately $2.8 billion, and earnings estimates for fiscal 2027 and 2028 have been revised upward to $12.60 and $16.66 per share, respectively.
