Cathie Wood's Ark Invest purchased $37.4 million worth of Block Inc. shares on Monday, spreading the acquisition across three actively managed exchange-traded funds. The firm bought 456,059 shares of the Jack Dorsey-led company, allocating 191,732 shares to its flagship ARK Innovation ETF, 88,065 shares to the ARK Next Generation Internet ETF, and 176,262 shares to the ARK Fintech Innovation ETF. Block shares closed down 3.23% at $80.20. The purchase followed Block's second-quarter earnings report, which showed gross profit of $3.17 billion, up 25% year over year, and a raised 2026 gross-profit forecast of $12.51 billion. Ark also bought 35,192 shares of Circle Internet Group through its fintech fund, worth about $3.36 million, while selling shares of Palantir, Shopify, Roblox, AMD, and Tempus AI on the same day.
