ASML Holding N.V.ASML announced its high-NA EUV machines are being used by Intel for mass production, boosting demand for its advanced lithography systems.
ASML announced that Intel Foundry is now using its high-NA extreme ultraviolet lithography machines to mass-produce Panther Lake client processors on the Intel 18A process node. Intel CFO David Zinsner previously said Panther Lake CPU volume would increase six or seven times in the second quarter relative to the first, and that the platform's gross margin will improve each quarter. ASML also said it will collaborate with Intel to further refine the 18A node to enable broader adoption. The news suggests Intel may be on track to meet robust demand for its client CPUs and could deliver strong guidance when it reports earnings on July 23.
