The Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta said its latest GDPNow model estimate indicates the US economy grew at a 4.0% pace in the third quarter of 2026, after expanding 2.1% in the first quarter and 1.5% in the second quarter. The Atlanta Fed will release its next GDPNow estimate on August 26.
