The Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta reported that its latest GDPNow forecasting model indicates the US economy expanded 1.6% in the second quarter of 2026, slowing from 2.1% growth in the first quarter. The Atlanta Fed will release its next GDPNow estimate on July 28.
