Autodesk IncAutodesk secures $2B credit facility and $1B term loan to fund its $3.6B acquisition of MaintainX, expanding its customer reach and data access.

Autodesk has amended its credit agreements to secure financing for its $3.6 billion all-cash acquisition of MaintainX Inc. The company increased its unsecured revolving credit facility to $2 billion from $1.5 billion with Citibank N.A. as administrative agent, providing streamlined borrowing of up to $1 billion for the purchase. Autodesk also entered into a Term Loan Credit Agreement for an additional $1 billion unsecured 364-day delayed draw term loan facility, maturing 364 days after the acquisition closes. The deal is expected to expand Autodesk's reach across customer segments, geographies, and adjacent use cases, while granting access to data on asset history, inspections, maintenance patterns, and real-world performance.
