Guangdong AVCiT Tech Hldg CoPlans two-phase indium phosphide project with initial R&D investment, but no material impact yet and significant uncertainties.

Guangdong Avcit Technology Co., Ltd. announced it will advance an indium phosphide semiconductor material industrialization project in two phases through its wholly-owned subsidiary Zhuhai Mingyao New Material Technology Co., Ltd. The first phase plans to invest 12 million yuan to build a research and development laboratory, equipped with 20 sets of process verification equipment, for technical experiments and feasibility verification. In the second phase, if the experimental conclusions support commercialization, the plan is to invest between 200 million and 260 million yuan to purchase 280 sets of production equipment and supporting facilities. The company stated that due to the lengthy administrative approval processes such as environmental impact assessment and safety assessment, it intends to initiate the relevant approval procedures in advance based on the overall project scale, reserving space for subsequent industrialization. However, this does not represent a final investment commitment, and the project faces significant uncertainties including R&D failure and technological path deviations. As of now, this business has not had a material impact on the company's operating performance.
