B-Ray Media announced that Chen Changzhi, general manager and director of its holding subsidiary Sichuan Shengxue Education Technology Co., Ltd., has been placed under investigation and detention by the relevant supervisory authorities. Apart from his roles as general manager and director of Shengxue Education, Chen holds no other positions at B-Ray Media. The company has designated relevant personnel to oversee Shengxue Education's operations and stated that the matter will not affect the company's normal operations. B-Ray Media holds a 60 percent stake in Shengxue Education, while Chen Changzhi holds 25.04 percent. Shengxue Education is a key vehicle for the company's smart education business. Earlier, the company issued a profit warning, estimating a net loss attributable to the parent company of 45 million to 65 million yuan for the first half of 2026.
