The site of the incident is one section of that pipeline route. BPT has granted, for compensation, the rights to use and manage the assets of this oil pipeline system to Bangkok Fuel Pipeline Transportation and Logistics Company Limited, or BFPL, since January 1, 2022. BPT currently provides multi-products pipeline transport services covering only the northern part of the country, receiving oil from the Bang Pa-in oil depot for onward delivery to the Phichit oil depot and the Nakhon Lampang oil depot.
