Baystate Health is expanding its strategic relationship with Oracle Health to create a more connected healthcare experience for patients and clinicians. The not-for-profit integrated health system serving over 800,000 people in western Massachusetts plans to accelerate adoption of Oracle Health technologies across its network, including its health plan Health New England, with AI-powered solutions such as Oracle Health EHR, Oracle Health AI Data Platform, Oracle Health Patient Accounting, Oracle Health Patient Portal, and Oracle Health Clinical AI Agent. The modernization aims to unify data, improve interoperability, reduce administrative burden, and support the planned corporate affiliation of Mercy Medical Center pending regulatory approval. Baystate Health President and CEO Peter D. Banko said the collaboration will modernize daily workflows to make healthcare easier, safer, and more connected, while Oracle Health executive vice president Seema Verma noted the initiative demonstrates how modern technology and AI can enhance care coordination and limit administrative burden.
