Hut 8 Corp. Common StockBenchmark nearly doubled price target to $165, citing successful AI pivot and undervaluation.

Wall Street brokerage Benchmark has nearly doubled its price target on Hut 8 Corp. to $165 from $85, citing the company's successful pivot to artificial intelligence data centres. The new target is 67% above the current share price of $99.17. Analyst Mark Palmer reiterated a buy rating, noting the market has not fully reflected Hut 8's rapid expansion and that a buying opportunity has emerged after a nearly 30% decline over six weeks. Hut 8 has signed two 15-year lease agreements covering 597 megawatts of power capacity at its Louisiana and Texas campuses, representing $16.8 billion in contracted lease value that could rise to $42.8 billion if renewal options are exercised. The company's development pipeline totals more than nine gigawatts of power across projects under development.
