B.Grimm Power reported second-quarter 2026 net profit attributable to shareholders of 676 million baht, up 9,557.1% from the same period last year. The second half is in focus as revenue from the Nakwol 1 wind power project is recognized for a full quarter. Revenue from sales and services was 15.123 billion baht, up 0.4% from a year earlier and up 18.8% from the previous quarter, driven by a 2.7% increase in electricity sales volume to 4,003 gigawatt hours. EBITDA was 3.509 billion baht, down 6.0% from a year earlier and down 7.5% from the previous quarter, pressured by lower project development service income, unrealized foreign exchange losses at associates, and bad debt provisions. The board approved an interim dividend of 0.18 baht per share, with the stock trading ex-dividend on 26 August 2026 and cash payment on 11 September 2026. Analysts at Bualuang Securities said the reduction in household electricity tariffs to 3.89 baht per unit does not affect SPP power plant operators because the rate applies only to households. They expect core profit in 2026 to fall 30% before recovering 20% in 2027, and recommend gradually accumulating the stock with a fair value of 20 baht.
