Microsoft CorporationBilltrust's new platform integrates with Microsoft Copilot, enhancing its ecosystem

Billtrust announced the launch of the Billtrust MCP Server, becoming the first accounts receivable platform to directly connect live invoice-to-cash intelligence to AI assistants Claude and Microsoft Copilot via the Model Context Protocol. Finance teams can now query live data across invoicing, payments, cash application, and AR analytics using plain language, receiving instant answers without leaving their AI workspace. The platform draws on Billtrust's AR intelligence trained on anonymized payment data from 13 million buyers and over $1 trillion in annual invoice volume. Future capabilities will include embedded user interfaces, pre-built prompt libraries, and the ability to take actions such as sending collections outreach and applying payments directly from the AI tools. Each customer's data remains in their own environment with structured read-only access and a complete audit trail for every query.
