Bitdeer Technologies has acquired 200 acres of land in Milam County, Texas, for approximately $100 million to support AI and high-performance computing infrastructure near its existing Rockdale facility. The new parcel, combined with the company's other Milam County sites, provides about 563 megawatts of interconnected grid capacity, with plans to scale to 742 megawatts, along with a dedicated water supply. The acquisition removes a key constraint on AI/HPC data center development and gives Bitdeer long-term operational control, eliminating lease renewal risks. After the transaction, Bitdeer owns or operates roughly 255 acres and 742 megawatts of existing and pipeline power capacity in Milam County, and about 3.0 gigawatts of total power capacity across its global portfolio, which includes facilities in the U.S., Norway, Bhutan, Canada, Malaysia, and Ethiopia.
