Bitdeer Technologies Group shares fell nearly 20% this week after the company reported second-quarter results that missed analyst estimates and announced a potential $1 billion at-the-market share offering. Revenue came in at just under $229 million, below the slightly above $231 million analysts expected, while the net loss deepened to over $92 million, or $0.37 per share, compared with a $0.32 loss estimate. The company also disclosed plans to float up to $1 billion of class A ordinary shares. The developments came shortly after Bitdeer announced a roughly $4.7 billion, 16-year lease with AI infrastructure company Volta for 121 IT megawatts of AI compute.
