BlackRock posted record assets under management of $15.3 trillion in the second quarter of 2026, a 22% increase from a year earlier, driven by $191.7 billion in total net inflows that more than doubled the prior-year period. Revenue rose 31% to $7.1 billion, while non-GAAP diluted earnings per share climbed 15% to $13.91, and the adjusted operating margin expanded 260 basis points to 45.9%, its highest level in nearly five years. iShares ETFs attracted $177.9 billion of net inflows during the quarter, contributing to a record $310 billion in the first half, and private markets net inflows reached $15.4 billion, led by private credit deployment and infrastructure fundraising. The firm increased its planned share repurchases to at least $550 million per quarter and expects to return over $5.7 billion to shareholders in 2026 through dividends and buybacks. CEO Laurence Fink highlighted accelerating momentum from the integration of GIP, HPS, and Preqin, and said two iShares ETFs are expected to be available as investment options through the U.S. Treasury's Trump Accounts programs later this year.
