Blue Bird reported fiscal 2026 third quarter revenue of $517.2 million, up 29.9% year over year, and raised its full-year adjusted EBITDA guidance to $245 million to $250 million. The company also announced an expanded collaboration with Ford Motor Company to design, manufacture, and sell the next-generation F-53/F-59 commercial strip chassis, along with a $7 million asset purchase of Detroit Chassis LLC's Detroit assembly plant. Adjusted EBITDA for the quarter was $71.4 million, a record, and GAAP net income was $185.3 million, including a $160.5 million gain from remeasuring a previously held 50% equity investment. Total unit sales were 3,525, including 1,235 Micro Bird units, and the company's backlog stood at 4,900 units, with 776 electric vehicles. Blue Bird expects the chassis segment to reach 10,000 units by 2030 and generate more than $100 million in adjusted EBITDA, contributing to a long-term revenue outlook of $3 billion.
