Blue Ridge Bankshares shares rose 0.6% since reporting a net loss for the second quarter of 2026. The company posted a net loss of $0.2 million, or breakeven per diluted common share, compared with net income of $1.3 million, or $0.01 per diluted common share, a year earlier. Net interest income fell 16.6% to $16.5 million, while noninterest income dropped 45.4% to $1.8 million. Loans held for investment grew to $1.85 billion, marking the first quarterly loan growth in 13 quarters, and the net interest margin edged up to 2.91%. Credit quality weakened as nonperforming loans rose to $31.2 million, or 1.34% of total assets, largely due to an $11.4 million out-of-market lending relationship moved to nonaccrual status.
