NVIDIA CorporationBMO reiterates Outperform with $340 target and projects revenue above consensus ahead of earnings.
Nvidia shares climbed 2% Tuesday as BMO Capital kept an Outperform rating and a $340 price target ahead of the chipmaker's fiscal second-quarter results. BMO expects revenue for the quarter to reach $94 billion to $95 billion, about $2 billion to $3 billion above the current consensus, and sees fiscal third-quarter sales exceeding estimates by a similar amount on continued data-center demand. The analyst sees another growth leg emerging as Nvidia ramps its Vera Rubin platform in the second half of 2026, projecting sequential revenue gains of more than $10 billion as the new systems move into broader production. BMO also highlighted the Rubin NVL72 and Groq3 LPX combination, which it said can deliver far greater inference throughput than the earlier GB200 NVL72 platform, supporting additional sales.
