Global Power Synergy PCLQ2 profit beat forecasts and analysts raised target prices, naming it a top pick.

Analysts are positive on GPSC after it reported second-quarter 2026 net profit of 1.819 billion baht, down 10 percent from a year earlier but up 6 percent from the previous quarter, supported by the full-quarter restart of the Gheco-One power plant and improved performance of associates. Krungsri Securities said normalised profit was 1.719 billion baht, up 59 percent year-on-year and 43 percent quarter-on-quarter, beating its research and market forecasts by 6 percent and 4 percent respectively. It raised its target price to 61 baht and named the stock a top pick in the power plant sector. Maybank Securities said core operating profit was about 1.6 billion baht, up 86 percent year-on-year and 21 percent quarter-on-quarter, and maintained a buy rating with a target price of 50 baht.
