The Cabinet meeting approved the appointment and transfer of eight director-general or C10-level officials at the Ministry of Finance. Ms. Salachit Pongsirichan, advisor on tax collection strategy for the financial and banking transactions group at the Revenue Department, will become director-general of the Revenue Department, while Mr. Theeralak Saengsanit, deputy permanent secretary of the Ministry of Finance and head of the revenue affairs group, will become director-general of the Treasury Department. Mr. Abhisit Wattanakul, director of the State Enterprise Policy Office, will move to become director of the Public Debt Management Office, and Mr. Phonchak Nimmawathana, advisor on policy and strategy at the Ministry of Finance, will become director of the State Enterprise Policy Office. In addition, Mr. Kanawut Sititheeraphan, inspector-general of the ministry, will become deputy permanent secretary; Ms. Saphatporn Thammapornpilat, advisor at the Fiscal Policy Office, will become inspector-general of the ministry; Mrs. Tharaporn Singhabhan Mahitthafongkul, advisor on real estate valuation development at the Treasury Department, will become inspector-general of the ministry; and Ms. Chitra Neesanant, advisor on tax base development at the Revenue Department, will become deputy permanent secretary.
