Snowflake Inc.Cantor raises price target to $405, maintains Overweight, expects beat

Cantor Fitzgerald analyst Thomas Blakey raised the price target on Snowflake to $405 from $282 while maintaining an Overweight rating, ahead of the company's fiscal second-quarter 2027 earnings on September 2. The firm expects another beat, but projects product revenue to exceed the guide midpoint by only 3%, a narrower margin than last quarter's 5.5% beat. Snowflake's product revenue grew 34% year-over-year to $1.3 billion in Q1, with net revenue retention at 126%, driven by AI adoption across more than 13,600 accounts and Cortex Code usage by about 7,100 accounts. Cantor notes strong CoCo adoption and core usage, but questions whether incremental AI consumption can offset customer cost optimizations. Hedge fund interest has increased, with 103 funds holding positions, up from 80 in the prior quarter.
