Catholic Health and GE HealthCare have entered a 10-year strategic partnership valued at approximately $500 million to modernize technology across Catholic Health's Long Island network. The Care Alliance will add more than 1,300 pieces of equipment spanning CT, PET/CT, MR, mammography, ultrasound, and other modalities to six hospitals and 36 other sites, with roughly half of the additions arriving in the first three years. The agreement includes AI-powered tools for scheduling, diagnostics, and monitoring, as well as a 10-year multivendor service component covering maintenance and lifecycle management across over 40 locations. The partnership aims to expand access to advanced imaging and specialized care in cardiology, oncology, neurology, and women's health, with patients expected to see benefits within the first year.
