Cerebras Systems reported second-quarter results that sent its stock down 16% over two sessions before a rebound, and the chipmaker now looks like a buy as inference demand soars. Revenue grew 74% to $180.1 million, while core sales more than doubled to $209.9 million, and core gross margin rose 940 basis points to 40.6%. Management guided third-quarter revenue to between $214 million and $216 million and raised full-year core revenue guidance to $880 million to $890 million. The company is teaming up with Advanced Micro Devices and has deals with OpenAI and Amazon Web Services, positioning it to capture a share of the AI inference market projected to reach $1.3 trillion by 2032.
