Cerus CorporationRaises 2026 product revenue and IFC guidance, reports strong Q2 results, and completes debt refinancing reducing interest expense.

Cerus Corporation raised its full-year 2026 product revenue guidance to a range of $229 million to $231 million, up from the prior $227 million to $231 million, and lifted its IFC revenue guidance to $23 million to $25 million from $22 million to $24 million. CFO Kevin Green reported second-quarter product revenue of $57.4 million, a 10% increase from the same period last year, with first-half product revenue up 16% to $111.1 million. U.S. IFC revenue rose approximately 20% to $6.7 million, and excluding a prior-year deferred revenue item, IFC growth would have been about 40% with demand up 43%. CEO Vivek Jayaraman highlighted the submission of a PMA for the INT200 platelet system to the FDA, with potential approval as early as the first half of 2027, and said top-line results from the Phase 3 RedeS trial for INTERCEPT red blood cells are expected in the fourth quarter. The company also completed a debt refinancing that reduced its term loan by $30 million and is expected to cut annual interest expense by up to $3.5 million, while gross margins are still seen in the low 50s for the year.
