Chaoxun Technology has been sued by Lianyungang Big Data Industry Development Co., Ltd. over a payment dispute arising from an equipment procurement contract, with the total amount involved reaching 39.0788 million yuan. The plaintiff is asking the court to order Chaoxun Technology to pay 36.4032 million yuan for the goods and 2.6756 million yuan in liquidated damages, with the damages provisionally calculated up to June 23, 2026, and thereafter accruing at 0.05 percent per day until the date of actual full payment. In its 2026 half-year report disclosed on the same day, the company said first-half revenue was 565 million yuan, down 64.9 percent year on year, while net profit attributable to the parent company was 51.73 million yuan, down 28.2 percent year on year. Chaoxun Technology said the case has been accepted but has not yet opened, and it is temporarily unable to assess the impact on current or future profits.
