China Railway Industry announced that its total new contract value in the first half of 2026 reached 20.283 billion yuan, down 5.26 percent year on year. Domestic new contracts amounted to 16.835 billion yuan, a decline of 13.76 percent, while overseas new contracts jumped 82.44 percent to 3.448 billion yuan, reflecting significant progress in overseas market expansion. By business segment, new contracts for specialized engineering machinery and related services came to 6.773 billion yuan, up 8.74 percent; transportation equipment and related services recorded 11.533 billion yuan, down 16.34 percent; and other businesses posted 1.978 billion yuan, an increase of 41.61 percent. In the second quarter, the company signed major contracts worth 747 million yuan, accounting for approximately 2.7 percent of its 2025 revenue.
