Ciena Corporation has appointed Grant Hoffman as Chief Supply Chain Officer and transitioned Brodie Gage to the role of Chief Product and Technology Officer, effective immediately. Both executives report to President and CEO Gary Smith and join the company's Executive Leadership Team. Hoffman brings more than 25 years of global supply chain and operations experience, most recently serving as Senior Vice President of Operations and Solutions Delivery at HP following its acquisition of Poly. Gage, who has been with Ciena since 2010, expands his leadership of the product organization to include technology strategy, continuing to oversee Product Line Management, Solutions Engineering and Introduction, and Quality while partnering with the Global Research & Development team.
