Circle Internet Group, Inc.Circle is launching its Arc Mainnet with 100+ partners, expanding into institutional blockchain infrastructure beyond stablecoin issuance.

Circle Internet Group is approaching a September 16 launch of its Arc Mainnet, which could broaden its role beyond stablecoin issuance into infrastructure for financial institutions, payments companies, and capital-markets participants. The network is set to launch with more than 100 private mainnet partners and validators, including Visa, which plans to operate a validator and add Arc to its stablecoin settlement pilot. Circle completed a $242 million Arc Token presale in the second quarter, with about $180 million expected to be recognized in 2026 as product milestones are achieved, and management raised full-year other-revenue guidance to $310-$330 million from $150-$170 million. Partners such as BlackRock, BNY, DTCC, and Standard Chartered are exploring integrations for tokenized-asset settlement, custody, stablecoin access, foreign exchange, and repo infrastructure. However, milestone-based revenues and elevated spending keep execution risk in focus, as adjusted operating expenses rose 23% year over year to $146 million in the second quarter, with full-year spending expected near the high end of the $570-$585 million guidance range. Circle Payments Network, an early example of infrastructure translating into usage, saw annualized total payment volume grow from zero in the second quarter of 2025 to $14.7 billion by the end of the second quarter of 2026, reaching about $23 billion by July 31, with 175 enrolled financial institutions across 58 countries. The stock trades at 7.4 times forward 12-month sales, versus 2.6 times for its Zacks sub-industry and 4.8 times for the S&P 500, and carries a Zacks Rank #3 (Hold).
