Cisen Pharmaceutical announced that its subsidiary Shandong Cisen Fodu Pharmaceutical has received the Drug Registration Certificate for loteprednol etabonate and tobramycin ophthalmic suspension issued by the National Medical Products Administration, marking the first generic approval in China. The product specification is 5 ml containing 25 mg loteprednol etabonate and 15 mg tobramycin, registered as a Category 4 chemical drug, mainly indicated for steroid-responsive inflammatory ocular conditions and associated or potential bacterial infections of the ocular surface. Cisen Pharmaceutical stated that this approval further supplements the company's product portfolio and enriches its product line, and is expected to play a positive role in the company's future development. The company also cautioned that drug launch requires a certain market development period, and product sales are subject to uncertainties from changes in pharmaceutical industry policies, bidding and procurement, market conditions, and centralized procurement, so investors should be aware of the risks.
