Bragar Eagel & Squire, P.C. announced that a class action lawsuit has been filed against Alibaba Group Holding Ltd. in the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York. The lawsuit is on behalf of all persons and entities who purchased or otherwise acquired Alibaba securities between June 26, 2025 and June 24, 2026. The complaint alleges that defendants made false and misleading statements and failed to disclose that Alibaba was directly or indirectly controlled by or affiliated with China's Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, making it a Chinese military company under the National Defense Authorization Act, and that the risk of Alibaba carrying out distillation attacks against third-party AI models was ongoing. Investors have until October 5, 2026 to apply to the Court to be appointed as lead plaintiff.
