CLASSYS has appointed Dr. Taek-Soo Kim, a former Samsung Electronics and Vuno executive, as its new Chief Technology Officer and Head of Research and Development. The appointment follows last month's hiring of Jun-oh Yoon, former Executive Vice President of Samsung Electronics, as CEO, as part of the company's Next Stage growth strategy. Dr. Kim will focus on integrating CLASSYS's energy-based device technologies with clinical data and AI to develop next-generation products, while incorporating feedback from clinicians and key opinion leaders across global markets. His experience leading large-scale R&D transformation at Samsung Advanced Institute of Technology is expected to accelerate the implementation of global-standard management systems within the R&D organization.
