Chememan Public Company LimitedFirst-half net profit rose 7.6% and gross margin improved, though Q2 profit fell on geopolitical cost pressures.

Chememan Public Company Limited, or CMAN, reported net profit attributable to shareholders for the first six months of 2026 at 256 million baht, up 7.6% from the same period last year. Although total revenue from sales and services fell 4.6% to 1.888 billion baht, gross profit margin rose to 40.1% from 36.6% in the same period a year earlier. For the second quarter of 2026, net profit attributable to shareholders was 84 million baht, down 21.9% from the same quarter last year, impacted by geopolitical tensions that pushed up energy prices and freight costs. However, gross profit margin in the second quarter still increased to 38.2% from 37.2% in the same period last year. The company expects to start recognising positive results from the acquisition of Lime Master Company Limited from the third quarter onwards, and is confident that 2026 will deliver record-high performance. It is also pressing ahead with a medium-term plan to expand its business base in India and Indonesia, as well as a sustainability plan to increase solar power generation capacity to 8.7 megawatts.
