CMR Surgical and NVIDIA are demonstrating a new simulation environment at the SRS 2026 conference that shows how the Versius Plus surgical robot could learn from clinical data to predict surgical outcomes. The simulation, built on NVIDIA Isaac for Healthcare’s Medical Physics Simulation framework, uses the Cosmos-H-Dreams model to anticipate how a surgical scene might evolve under different robot actions. CMR Surgical has become the largest contributor to the Open-H Embodiment dataset, the world’s largest open dataset for healthcare robotics, which helps train the next generation of intelligent robotic systems. The capability is being evaluated in a simulated environment and is not part of the currently cleared Versius Plus system, nor intended for clinical decision-making. The showcase runs from 23 to 26 July in Florida, U.S.
