Company to present pediatric eczema study showing 95% SCORAD reduction without steroids, building on adult studies.
Codex Labs announced it will present findings from a new open-label pilot study on a non-steroidal protocol for pediatric atopic dermatitis at the Society of Pediatric Dermatology 51st Annual Meeting in Minneapolis from July 22 to 25. The study evaluated an integrated protocol combining the company's Bia Skin Barrier Supplement and plant-biotech topical formulations in 80 children ages 1 to 12 with mild to moderate atopic dermatitis, showing a 95% reduction in SCORAD after eight weeks without any topical corticosteroids. The pediatric findings build on two peer-reviewed adult studies published in 2026 that demonstrated up to a 99% reduction in adult SCORAD using the same protocol. Codex Labs will also sponsor the SPD Faculty Dinner on July 23.
