Coherent reported fiscal fourth-quarter revenue of $2.05 billion and non-GAAP diluted earnings of $1.74 per share, both ahead of analyst consensus, but the photonics maker's record year produced almost no cash. Datacenter and communications revenue reached $1.62 billion in the quarter, up 59% year over year, while industrial fell 16% to $430.5 million. Net cash from operating activities for the year was $79.5 million, down from $633.6 million in fiscal 2025, against $1.10 billion of additions to property, plant and equipment. Inventories climbed to $2.58 billion from $1.44 billion, and accounts payable more than doubled to $1.91 billion. The company guided between $2.2 billion and $2.4 billion in revenue for the first quarter of fiscal 2027, with non-GAAP EPS of $1.85 to $2.05.
