Context Therapeutics reported a second-quarter net loss of $14.56 million, a 65% increase from $8.83 million a year earlier, as it advances its clinical pipeline. Diluted loss per share rose to $0.15 from $0.09. The company held $43 million in cash and equivalents as of June 30, 2026, with a runway expected to fund operations through the fourth quarter of 2027. Its lead candidate CTIM-76 received FDA Fast Track Designation in April 2026 for platinum-resistant ovarian cancer, with a Phase 1b dose expansion trial set to begin in the first quarter of 2027. A second asset, CT-202, gained Australian regulatory clearance to start a first-in-human Phase 1 trial, with initial topline data anticipated in the second half of 2027. Context also discontinued development of CT-95 to focus resources on its two lead programs. The stock closed Wednesday at $0.69, up 11.45%, but fell 23.06% to $0.53 in overnight trading.
