CoreWeave reported second-quarter results with revenue topping market expectations and a narrower-than-expected loss. Revenue came in at 2.58 billion dollars, exceeding the average analyst estimate of 2.56 billion dollars compiled by LSEG, while adjusted loss per share improved to 1.03 dollars from the forecast 1.20 dollars. Robust demand for AI cloud services boosted performance, sending shares up about 10 percent at one point in after-hours trading. Remaining performance obligations stood at 104.2 billion dollars as of the end of June, up from 99.4 billion dollars at the end of March, and net new contract value from new customers since the start of the third quarter exceeded 25 billion dollars. Capital expenditures expanded to 9.4 billion dollars from 6.8 billion dollars in the prior quarter, and the company now operates 51 data centers globally.
