Cosmos Health has advanced its international patent application for a proprietary hydrogel weight management platform into the U.S., Europe, Australia, and Canada. The application, titled "Hydrogel for Body Weight Management," is now in the European regional phase and national phases in the other three jurisdictions, following the acquisition of the intellectual property from Cloudpharm by Cosmos Health's subsidiary Cana Laboratories. The technology, known as CCX0722, is a capsule that swells in the stomach to promote satiety without systemic absorption. Cosmos Health owns the technology outright with no licensing fees or third-party dependencies, and management views it as one of the company's most strategically significant proprietary assets. The global weight management market was estimated at $190.6 billion in 2025 and is projected to reach $562.2 billion by 2033.
